This is an outline of my proposed video presentation. The
intent is to introduce a keynote speaker at an educational technology
conference who will speak on the topic “Motivating Adult Learners”. The outline
will start off with a brief introduction of the topic, introduction of the
speaker, excerpts from the speakers’ talk, short interviews with adult learners
and a summary of articles on the topic with related images. Kindly, critique
the slides and your feedback will be appreciated.

Aderonke, you have done a marvelous job on your outline! What program did you create that in? (I'm using PowerPoint - not quite at a version I want to share yet!) Your outline gives a great introduction about motivating adult learners without being too lengthy.

DeleteAderonke looks great. I am curious on who you are going to interview? Also do you have any advice on finding video on key note speakers that you don't have to pay for or is copyrighted?

Teri, I intend to interview someone who has been involved in training adult learners on ICT skills. I do not have any link for video of keynote speakers. I might have to start searching as it would also help me in my final presentation.

ReplyDeleteWow! Your video presentation storyboard looks great. I like very much the slide where you are planning to introduce a brief keynote about the speaker. Are you going to insert a video of yourself or just a picture? I asked professor Almasude if he wanted me to record myself talking about the subject from a podium. He told me that he did not want videos of our selves. I will paste his exact words, “Yes! You are supposed to upload your presentation to slideshare and you should include video clips. But, while your narration is expected, you should make sure to avoid recording yourself while presenting . . . All the best:-)” I am going to narrate my video (voice over) and I will also include video clips of educational experts talking about the subject to give more credibility to my presentation. I can’t wait to see the next stage of your video presentation. Great work!

OOOPS ! I misunderstood you. I thought that you were going to be the keynote speaker. Well, I imported a video clip from an educational expert (Marzano) from youtube and I embedded the video clip into one of the presentation slides. I am going to search for video clips next week. Good luck!
